Aquatic Components was founded by Richard H. Shepherd who has been designing, installing, and using all of the equipment showcased here. These components are the product of 24 years of experience in the boatlift business.

In the beginning, We used other manufacturers’ components, but were dissatisfied with their installation and operation. We decided to build our own components and therefore eliminate all the shortcomings that we had experienced. After years of refining our own designs, We decided to market and professionally install our line of original products as Aquatic Components.
